  University of Hertfordshire เมีมาตรฐานการเรียนการสอนที่เป็นเลิศได้รับการรับรองจาก Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) มหาวิทยาลัยเปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และ ปริญญาเอก มหาวิทยาลัยยังมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการศึกษาอื่น ๆ อันได้แก่ ห้องสมุดทันสมัย ศูนย์กีฬา ฯลฯ ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาเข้ารับการศึกษาในหลากหลายหลักสูตรกว่า 23,500 คน จากนักศึกษาต่างชาติกว่า 2,600 คนจากกว่า 85 ประเทศทั่วโลก

  มหาวิทยาลัยตั้งอยู่ทางฝั่งตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศอังกฤษในเขตเมือง Hertfordshire ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากกรุงลอนดอนมาทางเหนือประมาณ 20 ไมล์ (32 กิโลเมตร) สามารถเดินทางไปยังลอนดอนโดยรถไฟภายในเวลา 30 นาที และยังสะดวกต่อการคมนาคมสู่สนามบินหลัก ๆ ได้อย่างง่ายดาย

หลักสูตรเตรียมความพร้อมภาษาอังกฤษ Pre-sessional English Courses
มหาวิทยาลัยมีหลักสูตรเตรียมความพร้อมด้านภาษาอังกฤษแก่นักศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท ที่คะแนนภาษายังไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดไว้ หลักสูตรจะเตรียมความพร้อมและฝึกทักษะภาษาอังกฤษในทุกด้าน ทั้งการพูด การอ่าน การเขียนและการฟัง การพัฒนาด้านการเรียนในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย การร่วมทัศนศึกษาสั้น ๆ กับมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงการใช้ชีวิตและวัฒนธรรมของประเทศอังกฤษ
